With another year comes another Early Stage Researcher Conference. This popular student-led event is now in its third consecutive run, and shows no sign of slowing down.

In 2016, over 60 staff and students from Bath Spa University and beyond attended proceedings, with various parallel sessions being run at Corsham Court. More information about the conference can be found on the Hub under “Researcher Development“.

The Call for Papers for 2017 is now open, please see the text below:

This year’s conference is the third annual Early Stage Researcher Conference to be held at Corsham Court. All Bath Spa Postgraduates are welcome to share their research and meet with peers from across the institution and others from across the South West.
As well as the traditional conference fare of paper panels and creative workshops; this year’s conference features two new and innovative modes of presenting your research. There will be a Research Image Competition where entrants submit a single A4 image depicting their research which will be exhibited to delegates. Additionally there will be a round of ‘Pecha Kucha’ Presentations; a structured presentation style where researchers have just 20 timed slides of 20 seconds to present their research.
Anyone interested is asked to check the website and Twitter (linked below) for the latest information as the conference develops and for the form to sign up to attend. A full schedule for the day as well as keynote speakers will be announced shortly.
Date: 08/06/17
Time: 9:30 – 18:30
